VIDEO:

This video is part of the Activate Respect national campaign. Activate Respect has united Uber drivers from California, Colorado, and Illinois around a shared goal: advocating for changes to Uber’s deactivation policies that endanger drivers’ livelihoods. I played a key role in creating a new visual identity for the campaign, which we applied across our videos, website, and mobilizations. Additionally, I coordinated with the three driver groups to ensure a cohesive and unified visual representation.

This video is part of a three-part series featuring Uber drivers from across the country who share their experiences with deactivation. Filmed in Denver, Colorado, I prepared the driver for the interview and coordinated all filming logistics, including preparation calls and location scouting. The video garnered over 30,000 views across our social media platforms and raised awareness of unfair deactivations among our audiences and the press.
