This is a rapid-response video I filmed, edited, and produced for SCOPE LA to promote their Get Out the Vote Halloween event. South Central Los Angeles is a low-propensity voting area that faces significant challenges, such as environmental racism and limited access to resources like fresh, healthy groceries. The goal of this video is to highlight the importance of voting and encourage community members who typically do not vote to participate in the upcoming election. The event successfully attracted dozens of new voters and will be utilized for internal fundraising efforts to ensure that voters in South Central LA remain engaged.
